Trick yourself into exercising

Lying to yourself that tomorrow you will start working out is by now your favorite sport. Why not use that good mental exercise you have by now in reverse:

Try this: tell yourself you will only take a short walk around the block. Just to the P.O. Box and back. Then, when you are out, tell your yourself you can get to the next corner of the street. Start walking quicker and quicker. Think of something very cringy that you said to your crush 2 years ago and use that energy to start running (from your own thoughts). Congratulations, you are now jogging! Ignore the fact that your whole body is screaming in pain. You should have been proficient by now in ignoring the signs your body is giving you. Do some more laps until your awareness kicks in and you start feeling stupid and return home to watch Netflix.
